The youth of Pridnestrovie must be supported financially. Deputy of the Supreme Council, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Public Associations and Youth Policy Andrei Safonov named the main directions of the 2021 budget to support Pridnestrovian youth. The parliamentarian noted that at the first session of the Presidium in the autumn session, a lot of time was devoted to youth issues, and this is the “diocese” of the parliamentary committee on youth policy.
The parliamentarian noted another important item of expenditure - under the state program for the purchase of housing for orphans.
The state program for purchase of housing for orphans and children left without parental care was adopted by the Supreme Council in 2018 and will continue until 2028. The state intends to purchase more than 600 apartments and houses under the program in ten years. Last year, 60 orphans received the keys to their own apartments. The parliament allocated about 8 million rubles for the purchase in the budget 2020. Approximately the same amount is needed in 2021.
