Alexander Shcherba, "Tiraspol has what to be proud of"

A festive concert was held on the main square of the republic in the course of the celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the capital. Together with residents of Tiraspol, there are the first persons of the state and the guests of the city among the spectators.

Honored skill was traditionally demonstrated by servicemen of the company of the honor guard of the Ministry of Defense, who performed in the uniform of the 18th-century infantry musketeers. There was a multinational dance as a gift from the creative teams of the capital: the Ukrainian loaf, the Russian fair, the gifts of Moldovan gardens and fields. The spectators were impressed with the parade of flags of twin cities of Tiraspol. There are 23 of them: in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Europe.

"A frontier outpost under the Suvorov flag" - the city's hymn was played by a children's choir. President Vadim Krasnoselsky had a speech for Tiraspol residents.

Citizens of the city and guests of the holiday were congratulated by the Speaker of the Parliament and deputies of the Supreme Council. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba wished the Tiraspol citizens good, prosperity, fulfillment of desires and a peaceful sky over their heads.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Bayev congratulated the townspeople on the anniversary day of the capital, the parliamentarian Andrey Safonov joined in congratulations.

Festive events in the capital will last until late evening and will end with a jubilee firework in the main square of Tiraspol.
