Dear Pridnestrovians!

Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally, I congratulate you on Victory Day!

This national holiday is inextricably linked with the glorious generation of winners who, sparing no effort in their lives, heroically defended the independence of the Motherland, selflessly forged the weapons of Victory.

May 9 will forever remain the day of our constant pride and gratitude to those who forged the Victory in the rear and at the front. Courage, fortitude, heroism, selfless devotion to the Motherland of our fathers and grandfathers is an eternal example and a model for imitation to all future generations.

There is not a single family that would not have been touched by the Great Patriotic War, not a single house in which they did not keep a bright memory of relatives who did not return from the brutal battlefields. Our common duty today is not to allow this holiday to lose its true patriotic meaning.

We are proud of all those who defended the Fatherland at the front and in the rear, who defended our freedom and liberated the world from fascism. We will preserve in our hearts the memory of their heroism, courage, loyalty to duty and love for Motherland.

We are in unpaid debt to the veterans - thank you for your soldier's feat, for the gifted peace.

I wish you with all my heart good health, kindness, happiness and prosperity!
