Dear employees and veterans of internal troops!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally, I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday - the Day of Internal Troops!

The history of the formation of internal troops begins with the 19th century, when the emperor of all-Russian Alexander I through his decree reorganized the garrison units of the army and created internal troops on the basis of internal guard.

The establishment of this holiday is recognition of merit, respect and deep gratitude to all who devoted their lives to the service of the Fatherland.

Internal forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are performing extremely important and responsible tasks to ensure constitutional order and public security, protection of strategic objects of our country and the security of citizens.

High combat readiness is one of the distinguishing features, a kind of visiting card of the internal troops. They are by right one of the key links in the system of law enforcement agencies of the republic, they have a significant personnel, technical potential, serious operational capabilities.

I express special gratitude to the veterans who, after passing the fire and the flame of the war in Afghanistan, military events of 1992, came to the service in the internal affairs and stood up for the protection of law and order in the republic, showing high professional qualities, will and courage.

Thank you for your courage and devotion to your work, your indifference and your readiness to help at any moment.

I wish successes in service, good health, inexhaustible energy, optimism, peace and prosperity in families!
