Diplomatic delegation visited the legislative body of the republic. It was headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova Lucy Joyce. Chairman of the the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba and Vice Speaker, head of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and international relations Galina Antyufeeva were in the role of hospitable hosts.

Alexander Shcherba thanked the British diplomat for shown interest to what is happening in Pridnestrovie developments of the negotiation process between Chisinau and Tiraspol, noted experience of the from the UK regarding regional conflicts settling. In response, Ambassador Lucy Joyce noted that her country is interested in the continuation of the negotiation process in the existing "5 + 2" format.
