Legislative initiative of Galina Antyufeeva to increase the size of the monthly allowance for child care, which is produced by non-working mothers was adopted in the second reading. To date, payments to them is 35 RU MW, and for the others - 110 RU MW. Vice Speaker supposes that there should be no issue in getting children's allowances on the principle of the separation of the employed parent. She proposed to equal the recipients of the allowances, setting the maximum rate for all. After lengthy discussions within the committee the adopted in the first reading initiative received several amendments. Differentfigures were offered . As a result, at the plenary session the deputies, really assessing the socio-economic situation, agreed on the fact that in 2017 non-working mothers with children up to the age of a year and a half will receive 80 RU MW in a month.

Representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Unified State Social Insurance Fund taking part in the discussion  said that this increase would entail the diversion of funds from other articles. It was noted that the draft budget has been drawn up in 2017 and the money is included. It was suggested that if to increase the size of the child allowance for unemployed mothers, then in 2018.

Another socially important law-in-draft, which was unanimously supported by the deputies, aims to support orphans and children left without parental care received in military school. Gregory Dyachenko proposed to set for the students 1 and 2 courses monthly allowance for household needs of 50 MW RU.
