Alexander Shcherba, "The initiative of local authorities is important for the capital to develop"

In the course of the session of the session of the Tiraspol City Council of People's Deputies, its chairman Albina Ivanova, as well as the head of the capital State Administration Oleg Dovgopol, reported on the work done by local authorities over the past year. Albina Ivanova spoke about the main events in the life of the capital and the main decisions taken by the representative body of power. Particular attention was paid by local deputies to the issues of budgetary and social policy, municipal property and housing and communal services. The main direction in the work of local deputies remained control over the use of budgetary funds.

Despite the fact that the budget of Tiraspol was adopted last year as subsidized, the city authorities managed to implement a number of social projects. Residential pensioners were granted benefits to pay for utilities, young families were able to take advantage of concessional lending for the purchase of housing, a city program for the execution of voters' orders was implemented, parents of children attending kindergartens returned the overpaid money for children's meals in past years. Albina Ivanova asked legislators to support local authorities in implementing "The Capital" targeted program. The Parliament Speaker Alexander Shcherba said that in depends on the initiative of the deputies of the City Council whether this program be implemented or not.

According to the head of the State Administration Oleg Dovgopol, the capital not only demonstrated fruitful interaction at the local level, but also managed to establish international relations.

Local deputies approved the submitted reports and work plan for 2018. One of the issues that will soon be considered by the city council and the state administration concerns the installation of modern children's playgrounds in the city's microdistricts.

Galina Antyufeeva as a deputy representing the interests of the Tiraspol in the Supreme Council, noted noticeable improvements in the work of local authorities, their desire to make the life of the townspeople more comfortable.
