Alexander Korshunov, "The highest achievements set an example for the younger generation"

The qualifying stage of the republican contest “Person of the Year” is over, the best ones that have been active in the past year in education, healthcare, culture and other areas of the republic’s life have been named. Totally 19 nominations, 3 of them are new: "Person of the Year in the sphere of veterinary medicine", "Volunteer of the year" and " Art Patron of the year."

For providing sponsorship assistance in holding republican contests "Technointelect" and "I love my native land", conducting courses for more than a hundred heads of circles of technical creativity of the republic was the best in the category Art Patron of the Year businessman Sergey Alekseev. He received the award from the hands of the Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov.

The award ceremony for the winners of the contest "Person of the Year" is held for the 22^nd time. The significance of the meeting was noted by the head of the legislature. According to Speaker Alexander Korshunov, awarding the best in certain areas for the highest achievements is an example to the younger generation.

The laureates include a graduate student at PGU, co-director of the Let's Help Together Non-Profit Partnership of Social Assistance Yulia Makarenko. The girl with disabilities created the first Pridnestrovian volunteer movement, which brought together more than 60 people, organized charity events. In addition, she is the author of the project "Career guidance for people with disabilities". The deserved award to the winner in the nomination "Volunteer of the Year" was presented by President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The President focused on the implementation of the republic’s development strategy. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that behind her performance there are people who work supervising a machine or in fields. They work in medical institutions, teach children. According to the President, thanks to such people, their work can achieve the main goal - the development of Pridnestrovie.

The winner of the nomination "Law and Duty" was awarded by the deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Belyakov. They became the first deputy minister of justice Vladislav Zhuk. The resulting award, he called merit of his colleagues, mentors and relatives.
