Strengthening economic ties with the Russian Federation and promoting Pridnestrovian goods and services on the Russian market are the main goals of the Russian trade project. The agreement on its opening was concluded at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg in June of this year. The document was signed by the leaders of the Pridnestrovian and Russian organizations - the Investment Agency of the PMR and the Council for the Development of Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations of the Russian Federation. Presentation of the project took place in Tiraspol today.
The Council for the Development of Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations of the Russian Federation - is the organization of development of trade, created five years ago. It offers exporting companies to search for partners in target markets for selected industries and to negotiate before entering into contracts. The head of the Council, Maxim Chereshnev, at the event, spoke about the organization’s work directions, modern approaches to the development of trade and economic relations.
The event was attended by Deputies of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla, Viktor Guzun and Andrei Mezhinsky. The presentation of the Russian trade project was attended by heads of Pridnestrivian enterprises. For example, the project aroused interest among the leadership of the garment factory Odema. The company hopes to enter the Russian market, which is not present today.
It is planned within the framework of the Russian trade project to hold presentations of Pridnestrivian producers, as well as their participation in various exhibitions, forums and fairs.
