Alexander Korshunov, "Tiraspol strives for the future, and there is a merit of each work collective in this confident movement forward"

14.10.2020

Dear residents of Tiraspol!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the 228th anniversary of the founding of the city of Tiraspol!

Founded more than two centuries ago on the initiative of Empress Catherine II, Tiraspol is rich in a whole galaxy of names and deeds of sons and daughters who contributed to the formation and development of the city, our statehood, spirituality and culture.

Each passed year brings something new to the look and life of the capital of Pridnestrovie. The city on the Dniester before our eyes is acquiring more and more attractive features, its architectural appearance is being renewed. Tiraspol strives for the future, and in this confident movement forward there is a merit of every labor collective, a piece of love and care of every Tiraspol citizen.

The secret of the capital's attractiveness is in its difficult past, in the unification of nationalities and cultures, in the openness and friendliness of its inhabitants. Hospitality, peacefulness, benevolence and openness have always been and are passed from generation to generation by residents of Tiraspol.

I am sure that the older generation has someone to convey their love for their native land, their pride for our beautiful capital. What Tiraspol will look like, undoubtedly depends on each of us, on our attitude to cleanliness in its streets, to order around our houses and how we can preserve what we have created.

I wish you good health, peaceful sky, confidence in the future, well-being and prosperity. Love your city, take care of its traditions, increase its glory. Let every day of the capital of Pridnestrovie be bright, sunny, filled with bright colors of warmth, love and happiness!

of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
