Dear veterans, dear Pridnestrovians!

The Pridnestrovian people celebrate 78 years since the start of the Iasi-Kishinev operation on this significant day. The result of this operation was the liberation of the territory of Soviet Moldova and part of Ukraine. The German-Romanian occupiers suffered a severe defeat that marked the beginning of the preparation of an offensive against Hungary and Yugoslavia, as well as the withdrawal from the war of a supporter of Nazi Germany - Romania.

The Iasi-Kishinev operation became for all of us a major historical event, one of the turning points of the Great Patriotic War.

We understand what a huge contribution our grandfathers and fathers who defended our right to a happy and peaceful life made.

Our sacred duty is to never forget at what cost we got this victory.

We bow before the immortal feat of the Soviet people, who fought to the death for every inch of the land of their Fatherland. Separate words of deepest gratitude to our veterans, participants in the great battles of the Great War for their unparalleled courage, high patriotism and selfless service to the Motherland!
