Alexander Korshunov, “Together we can achieve a lot”

The 36th session of the XXV convocation of the Council of People’s Deputies was held in Slobodzeya. The meeting was held in an expanded format. The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov, deputies of the Supreme Council from the city and district Sergey Cheban, Vadim Doni, Pavel Shinkaryuk, Oleg Vasilaty took part in the session.

The head of the state administration of Slobodzeya district and Slobodzeya, Vasily Tishchenko, announced a report on the results of work in 2018. According to him, the main focus of the local authorities was the execution of the municipal budget. Last year, this figure reached 112%. They collected more taxes than planned. The head spoke about implementation of targeted programs. A modern kindergarten was opened. In the village of Pervomaisk in Vladimirovka, the construction of a training block started last year continues for the choreography department of the children's art school. In total, 8 facilities were repaired with funds from the capital investment program in the region.

In this regard, this year the repair work takes place in two regional houses of culture. Vasily Tishchenko told about the situation with street lighting. Last year about a thousand lamps were purchased. The light appeared on almost all central streets of populated areas of the district.

Attention was paid to agriculture. According to the head, the agrarian sector has reached a certain level of stability in the production of agricultural products. Work on attracting investment in the industry. However, according to Vasily Tishchenko, in general, the potential of the primordially agrarian region is underutilized. It is necessary to identify cases of irrational and inefficient use of land.

Following the report, the deputies were able to ask questions to the leadership of the state administration. Deputy of the Supreme Council Vadim Doni recommended his colleagues to work more actively with citizens on the ground, to explain the features of changes in legislation. The head of the legislature of the republic Alexander Korshunov also addressed the parliamentarians.
