Alexander Korshunov, "Family is the cell of our society"

Dear Pridnestrovians!

I congratulate you on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

We celebrate this wonderful holiday since the 8th of July, 2008 in memory of the holy spouses Peter and Fevronia of Murom.

The family is the unit of our society and the place where everyone feels comfortable and warm. The native shoulder of a loved one, warm look, hugs, quiet conversation in the family circle what could be better than all this?

Family relations are the link that connects different generations, it is our support in any situation. Children receive their first life experience from their parents, and our task is to convey to them eternal values: love for loved ones and relatives, respect for elders, the ability to treat others with understanding, memory of the past, and pass on spiritual, national and cultural traditions to them.

Our future directly depends on us and on the knowledge that we will pass on to the younger generation with care and attention.

I wish all Pridnestrovians that Family Day will bring happiness, love, devotion to every home, and that you together overcome any difficulties and hardships!
