The working week at the parliament ended with an international meeting. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Alexander Korshunov met with Jörg Redeke, manager of the German “Berlin Economics” consulting company. It specializes in economic consultations for members of the Government and heads of state institutions. German experts at various times rendered consultative assistance to Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova.
As Jörg Redeke said, the company made research of macroeconomic indicators in Pridnestrovie; in particular, the fiscal consequences of the abolition of import duties were studied. The current direction of "Berlin economics" work in our republic is a review of public finances. The specialists will analyze the state expenditures; give recommendations aimed at improving the situation of the republic.
In the course of the dialogue, Alexander Korshunov spoke about the economic situation in Pridnestrovie. According to the parliamentarian, this year the effective cooperation between the deputy corps and the Government was established.
Commenting on the results of the work of "Berlin economics" in Pridnestrovie, the economic situation in our republic Jörg Redeke described the economic conditions as rather difficult. Nevertheless, according to the expert, the leadership of the republic and the central bank are doing much to stabilize, first of all, the financial situation of Pridnestrovie.
