Alexander Korshunov, "The work on supporting the real sector of the economy needs to be continued"

Timely payment of salaries and pensions, financing of state programs, support of the real sector and measures to stabilize the economy of the republic are the main vector of the work of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, budget and finance. Its head Alexander Korshunov called the main results of the spring session.

According to Alexander Korshunov, the work was conducted in several directions. One of them is strategic planning. Deputies took part in the development of documents that determine the targets for the development of the state. Together with the government, the core committee participated in the drafting of the concept of fiscal and tax policy for three years. The Supreme Council at the final plenary session adopted amendments to the draft concept and remained in the second reading mode to finalize the document. As the head of the responsible committee noted, the work on the draft concept should be completed by the end of the summer.

A significant result of the work of the Committee during the spring session, Alexander Korshunov outlined the measures taken to support the real sector of the economy.

Thanks to the taken measures, it was possible to stabilize the situation in certain sectors of the economy. According to the chairman of the profile committee, if there is no external shocks and the dynamics of development of the real sector of the economy will remain the same in the next year, the amount of collected tax deductions and other additional budget revenues will allow increasing the size of pensions and wages of workers in the budgetary sphere in the short term.
