Alexander Korshunov, "Preliminary information confirms - money for payment of salaries and pensions in the past year were in the budget"

25.04.2016

The Commission on investigation of causes of incomplete payment of pensions and salaries in 2015 made a decision to appeal to the deputies with a proposal to extend the period of its operation. Initially it was planned to complete the analytical activities before the end of March. The process of obtaining the necessary information was delayed: the information was not always available on demand. The commission members considered the optimal date May31.

In addition to parliamentarians, representative of the Accounting Chamber participated in the session. She said that all obligations of this controlling body are fulfilled: the requested data is collected. The Accounts Chamber in the near future will have to shed light on issues such as the amount of transfers to the address of the Stabilization Fund PMR, revenues, monthly balances and borrowing Ministry of Finance and the Single State Social Insurance Fund from the special gas account. In addition, parliamentarians are interested in information on the amounts of state enterprises in the form of reduced tariffs for natural gas and, accordingly, the shortfall in the special account. Another important point - is the amount of debt to the gas account and the facts of its write-off from some counterparties.

Interim results of the commission is scheduled to announce tomorrow at the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council, and on Wednesday, together with the report of representative of the Chamber of Accounts - in plenary. At the same time the deputies have to decide on whether to extend the period of activity of the commission to investigate the causes of incomplete payment in the past year public sector wages and pensions. While available for parliamentarians data indicate that the state had the funds for the fulfillment of social obligations.
