Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War!

I cordially congratulate you on Victory Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

76 years have passed since the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, but the importance of this historic event is only increasing every year. A huge price was paid for the right of future generations to live and create, to be happy and to give joy to loved ones. Pridnestrovians made a worthy contribution to this great, common for all and dear to us Victory and rightfully consider themselves a part of the victorious Soviet people.

Time carries away from us the terrible years of the most difficult and bloody war in the history of mankind farther and farther away. But the feat of the people who defeated fascism, who managed to preserve a peaceful and free country for future generations, is timeless. Low bow to you, front-line soldiers, for your heroism on the battlefield, for your courage and fearlessness! You have shown the whole world unbreakable willpower and desire to win. I wish you well, prosperity, good health, inexhaustible optimism for you and your loved ones!

Our children and grandchildren will remember and keep the memory of your feat, dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Your names are forever inscribed in the chronicles of our hearts.
