Alexander Korshunov, "Our task is to find the optimal solution in matters of public expenditure"

It is not the first time that analysts from the consulting company Berlin Economicsvisit the legislative body of the republic, regular exchange of information takes place between state authorities and economists. At the end of last year, their specialists presented to the people's representatives an analysis of the pension system in Pridnestrovie. This time, the deputies of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Mikhail Burla, Sergei Cheban were interlocutors of the German guests.

The main direction of activity of "Berlin economics" in our republic is the review of public finances.

Well-known German company conducts economic assessments in various states, its employees come up with proposals for reforming a particular sphere, both production and social. It also concerns Pridnestrovie. At the same time, official representatives of the legislative and executive branches of the PMR government are closely cooperating with experts from the Russian Federation. They have their own experience in the development of production and social sphere, exit from critical situations.

At the same time, according to him, this does not mean that there is an intention to reduce the amount of financing of these industries. This confirms the need to use more rationally and effectively the financial resources that the government allocates to these areas.

During the dialogue, the parties exchanged views on the state of public finances, their expenditures and incomes, noted a significant imbalance between them, giving rise to a budget deficit, and discussed ways to eliminate it.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the profile committee Alexander Korshunov informed parliamentary journalists about discussed issues with German experts.

At present, representatives of Berlin economics carry out expert and analytical activities on the financing system of such an important social sector as health care and the protection of public health. Most likely, the next meeting in parliament will be devoted to this topic.
