Alexander Korshunov, We adopt the laws to support youth

The visit of the Pridnestrovian delegation to Moscow continues. The delegation includes the Chairman of Parliament Alexander Korshunov, Deputy Ruslan Gareev, plenipotentiary representative of the Supreme Council of the PMR in the Russian Federation on inter-parliamentary cooperation Olga Gukalenko, Head of the Central Election Commission of the PMR Elena Gorodetskaya, Minister of Education Alla Nikolyuk, chairmen of the Tiraspol and Slobodzeya Councils of People's Deputies Vadim Doni and Tatiana Zalevskaya, rector of the Pridnestrovian State University Stepan Beril.

On May 20, the delegation of Pridnestrovie met with compatriots and students from our republic in the building of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. They raised sensitive issues - simplification of obtaining Russian citizenship, exchange of passports and expansion of interaction between the PMR and the Russian Federation through trade and through public organizations.

Having attended personal reception with the Chairman of the Supreme Council the students noted that they would like to practice in Pridnestrovie in the course of the general meeting with compatriots.

Alexander Korshunov emphasized that the republic needs youth and their energy, therefore youth support is actively implemented at the state level.

The Pridnestrovian delegation secured support for projects that are planned for implementation in the near future at the meeting with the management of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. The Russian World Center and Offices have been opened and operate in Pridnestrovie since 2009 that help to introduce young people and compatriots to the Russian heritage, develop and preserve the Russian language and literature. Pridnestrovians are actively involved in projects of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, such as The Best Russian School Abroad, The Russian World Teacher, and others.

On May 20, Alexander Korshunov met with the Head of the United Russia faction, Sergei Neverov. The parliamentarians discussed a number of issues related to the vaccine and inter-parliamentary interaction. According to Olga Gukalenko, the meeting of the speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament with representative of the Moscow Government's Department for Foreign Economic and International Relations was productive. Projects related to humanitarian, social and economic areas have been agreed upon. Among the agreements reached is the delivery of over 1000 books of fiction and several types of textbooks for the primary school of our republic from Moscow to Pridnestrovie as humanitarian aid.
