Alexander Korshunov, “We bow to the immortal feat of the Soviet people”

Dear veterans, dear Pridnestrovians!

These days, the Pridnestrovian people celebrate important historical date - 75 years since the beginning of the Iasi-Chisinau operation. It is rightfully considered one of the most successful in liquidating large enemy group, because the result of this operation was the liberation of the lands of Soviet Moldavia and part of Ukraine from the German-Romanian invaders, the preparation of the land for the liberation of Hungary and Yugoslavia, and the withdrawal from the course of the war of Romania - a supporter of the enemy fascist Germany.

The Iasi-Chisinau operation is an important historical event for all of us. This significant date again recalls the sacred duty to carefully preserve the memory of the heroic deed of fathers and grandfathers who defended the Fatherland during the Great Patriotic War in severe conditions on the battlefield and in the rear, the human right to life.

We adore the immortal feat of the Soviet people, who stood to death for every inch of the land of our Fatherland. Separate words of deepest gratitude to our veterans, participants in the great battles of the great war for their unparalleled courage, high patriotism and selfless service to the Motherland!
