Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated veterans and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on their professional holiday in the course of the ceremonial event dedicated to Militia Day. The speaker noted that he knows firsthand how service in law enforcement agencies is both dangerous and difficult. Alexander Korshunov served in the internal affairs bodies of the city of Bendery with the rank of lieutenant from 1992 to 1996.
“I would like to say a special thanks to the veterans of internal affairs, because they formed the foundations, professional knowledge, experience and were able to transfer them to employees, who raised the level of our Ministry of Internal Affairs to a very high level. The level of law enforcement agencies is indeed most likely determined by the trust of the people. I hear an assessment of your work communicating with our citizens, with voters. Please, believe me, it is very high. There is a very high level of trust in you,” noted Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov.
The Speaker of Parliament expressed gratitude to current employees for their professionalism and to veterans for the work they did during the formation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and were able to pass on their knowledge to the younger generation.
