Alexander Korshunov, "We overcame this challenge together"

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov expressed gratitude to the Pridnestrovians for their fortitude and consolidation during the energy crisis:

"Dear Pridnestrovians! On my own behalf and on behalf of the deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, I would like to express my gratitude to each of you for the fortitude you have shown in the difficult conditions of the energy crisis. Dear Pridnestrovians, I also thank you for your active participation in the implementation of energy saving measures.

The lack of basic living conditions and amenities in the 21st century – gas, heating and electricity – has affected us all. It is very important that you treated the difficulties caused by the energy crisis and its consequences with understanding and patience. Pridnestrovians, all of us, have overcome this challenge together. Dear citizens, your support played a major role in the efforts of the Pridnestrovian leadership to stabilize the situation and resumption of gas supplies to our republic. The consolidation of the Pridnestrovian society, the actions of the President, the Government, the Operational Headquarters, the Supreme Council did not allow the energy crisis to develop into a humanitarian disaster.

Heat and gas have returned to our homes, there will be heat in schools and kindergartens, in clinics soon. A special huge thank you to all the electricians, gas workers, and heat workers who worked 24/7 to overcome the consequences of the energy crisis, thanks to the employees of the call center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, security forces and volunteers who helped lonely pensioners prepare firewood and warm up, go shopping and bring medicine.

I am sure that everything will be fine! Having passed the tests associated with the energy crisis, we will stand with honor and become an even more united people".
