Dear World War II veterans and home front workers!

Dear residents of Bendery!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on me personally let me congratulate you on the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Bendery from the German-Romanian invaders!

This day has a special place in the calendar of memorable dates. More than 3000 soldiers and officers of the Soviet Army were killed in the battles for the liberation of Bendery, the names of 1367 soldiers immortalized on the slabs of the Memorial of Glory of the Heroes Square.

This is a celebration of those who gave us peaceful sky and freedom, who gave all their strength to restore the national economy destroyed by the war, who with their labor and talent, created everything that we are proud of today.

Our duty is to keep the memory of the great and immortal feat of our defenders as well as to increase all the best that was done by the generation of winners.

This significant day, dear veterans, dear residents of Bendery, please accept my heartfelt wishes for peace and happiness, good health, prosperity, longevity and the best of hopes for the future of the republic and our city!
