Dear employees of the Customs Service!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally please receive congratulations on the 28th anniversary of the formation of the customs authorities of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

The history of customs in Pridnestrovie has deep roots and glorious traditions. From the first days of its existence, the activities of the customs service are aimed at protecting the interests of citizens, protecting the economic sovereignty and economic security of the republic, creating conditions for the stable development and competitiveness of the state.

In the period from 2018 to 2020, the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic introduced significant changes to the PMR Customs Code, which made it possible to reorient the customs legislation in accordance with the changed conditions in the field of foreign economic activity of the republic.

Today the Pridnestrovian customs is the highest example of an effective structure that meets all international standards, occupying an important place in the regulation of foreign trade activities, in the suppression of cross-border crime.

The modern generation of Pridnestrovian customs officers is the successor and continuer of those glorious and heroic traditions that centuries ago were laid by the Russian Empire on the land of Pridnestrovie and fulfill their official and professional duty at a high level.

I am convinced that the well-coordinated work of the employees of the Customs Service of our republic will make it possible to continue to competently and efficiently solve the state tasks of ensuring economic security in Pridnestrovie.
