Alexander Korshunov, “Children are our pride and greatest joy!”

Dear Pridnestrovians!

I congratulate you on a wonderful holiday - Children's Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

Children are our pride, everyday care and the greatest joy. Our rising generation is the future of our republic, and it depends only on us, adults, how they will grow up, who they will become and what place they will take in society.

Every effort in Pridnestrovie is made to protect the rights and interests of the family and children, social laws are being improved, but state programs and guarantees provided can replace parental love, warmth of home comfort, care and attention, a sense of security and confidence for our children.

We can create decent conditions for the development of their abilities and talents, help them become decent people who respect and love our country only if we combine the efforts of families, authorities, public organizations. The well-being of our state ultimately depends on the purposefulness of children, on the examples they learn from, on loyalty to the chosen cause.

I wish children and their parents good health, mutual understanding and joy. Peace, happiness and kindness to you!
