Current topics at the video conference with the President

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting with heads of public and administrative authorities. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov took part in the video conference.

The heads of state administrations informed about the fulfillment of presidential instructions, social obligations, the implementation of state and municipal programs the state of affairs in districts and towns. 

Deputy Head of the capital's administration Irina Olkhovik, talking about Tiraspol's progress in the implementation of the Capital Investment Fund 2023 program, said that the work planned for the current year to create a museum quarter has now been completed by 70%, in the arboretum - by 50%. The surface for the playing fields has been delivered to the city stadium. A contractor works at an ice skating rink. The work has been completed at school Number 9, the work is in progress at school Number 2. Irina Olkhovik focused on the celebration of City Day, which lasted three days – from October 13 to 15. She noted that the events that took place on Sunday in Catherine Park closed not only the capital’s name day celebrations, but also the spring-autumn 2023 park season, in the course of which more than 150 diverse cultural events took place in the park.

It was noted during the meeting that temple holidays were held in many villages of the republic, including Protyagailovka, Korotnoye and Chobruchi, where the 450th anniversary was celebrated on a grand scale. A folk art festival for the third time was held in Chobruchi in the renovated park named after Dmitry Rodin.

The head of Rybnitsa said that repair work in the city pool and rowing base is nearing completion. The improvement of school yards has been completed in three educational institutions; paving of adjacent areas with paving slabs continues in another three schools. These objects are included into presidential program that operates throughout the republic.

The issues related to improving the mechanism for organizing repair and construction work at healthcare facilities were discussed in the course of the meeting. They discussed the necessary adjustments to legal norms. Another topic is providing medical and social assistance to citizens left without the support of loved ones. We are talking about palliative care, as well as patients who have been in hospital for a long time. There is a proposal to create a specialized department on the basis of one of the republic’s medical institutions, in which citizens will be provided with long-term treatment and care. The building of the Slobodzeya hospital is being considered as an option. It was ordered to study the issue and determine the need for beds and personnel. Not only the Ministry of Health, but the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor will be involved in the work.

The upcoming heating season was among the topics of the workshop. The heads of state administrations and the Ministry of Economic Development informed about the readiness of the systems for launch. Centralized heating will be turned on in 24-hour social institutions starting tomorrow. Kindergartens are also among the first priority projects. The decision to connect residential buildings will be made based on temperature realities.
