The Current Initiative

The Supreme Council adopted the initiative of Galina Antyufeeva offering to make adjustments to the law "On citizens appeals" in the second reading. It is about providing residents of the republic the possibility to remotely interact with public authorities: apply to the state authorities and receive calls, and the results will be in electronic form.

Profile Committee called the proposal, which appeared on the basis of numerous complaints of Pridnestrovians as relevant, necessary and useful. More than a dozen positive conclusions were received on the law-in-draft. There were some comments on the original version of the document. For example, the amendment was made in the second reading, that add the law-in-draft with new provision: "Anonymous treatment containing information about preparing or committing a crime shall be subject to the direction of the body carrying out the preliminary investigation". In addition, the document clarified and expanded the list of grounds according to which the appeal is not subject of consideration. These are lack or inaccuracy of the information about the apply persons, the presence of expressions insulting the honor and dignity of others, the complaints on managers of commercial organizations, as well as requiring additional verification information affecting the rights and lawful interests of individuals and legal entities who object to consideration of the application (with the exception of disabled citizens).

All amendments were agreed. The law-in-draft was adopted in the final reading.
