Activists removed rubbish in the center of Tiraspol

Activists of "The Obnovlenie" (Renewal) political party and a group of volunteers held an environmental action. Garbage was collected in the center of Tiraspol, behind the park near the monument to the first in Moldavia power plant. There are no trash bins on this territory, plastic dishes, bottles and other debris are constantly accumulating, so cleaning is carried out here regularly. The event was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the PMR Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva.

The young people collected about two dozen bags of garbage during an hour. The plastic lids were folded separately. They will be sent to Dnestrovsk, where local volunteers will make an installation symbolizing the city's coat of arms as part of the local campaign “Make the city cleaner”. The participants of the eco mass event decided to turn to the leadership of Tiraspol with a request to install garbage cans in the park near the monument of the first power plant.
