The Slobodzeia district is the largest population in the administrative regions of Pridnestrovie. Traditionally, agriculture is a priority here. They grow wheat, industrial crops, vegetables, fruits, and are engaged in animal breeding. Fertile land for residents of Slobodzeia - the main wealth. The total land area in Pridnestrovie is 367,000 hectares, 70% of them are agricultural land. We have more than one and a half thousand peasant farms, many large agrofirms work effectively on the land.

Therefore, it is far from a coincidence that a big talk about the current state of the agro-industrial complex and prospects for its development took place exactly in Slobodzeia. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba, the deputies representing the interests of Slobodzeia residents, the head of the profile ministry Efimy Koval, the large and small land users took part in the dialogue. Agrarians were interested how at the state level the issues of land allocation are being solved, why one is singled out, others are not. They talked about the importance of state and municipal orders, the need for an early decision on the issue of the introduction of neutral license plates. This will greatly simplify the process of delivering agricultural products to foreign markets, as well as reduce its cost. Land users raised the topic of storage of agricultural products, raised the problem of so-called. «Black pair».

A separate important topic is the provision of preferential, so-called. long loans. It's difficult without it today. At the same time, agrarians focused on the problem of collateral. Small land users often do not. The head of state informed residents of Slobodzeia that on March 28 at the session of the Supreme Council a law-in-draft on concessional lending to the agro-industrial complex and small business was adopted. These are all areas except trade in priority.

According to the President, the great merit of the republic's leadership is that the land is kept for the state. It should be strictly asked for its irrational use. The Head of State is convinced that today it is necessary to solve irrigation issues and actively use intensive technologies.

One more burning question. What should be done that vegetable growing in the republic become profitable? What should be the pricing policy, will protective duties help? Today, unfortunately, in the markets, store shelves imported fruits and vegetables from Ukraine. Agrarians complained it is more profitable to bring cheap products and sell than to produce in the republic.

In the opinion of Vadim Doni, the solution of such an important issue as the creation of new jobs in the village is also required.

There are many questions, it is possible to solve them and it is necessary only in a complex way. This is aimed at the state program for the development of the republic's agro-industrial complex. The President announced its main tasks. The first is self-sufficiency. Pridnestrovie is able to independently produce "the entire range of food products". The President emphasized, before talking about expanding external sales markets, it is necessary to master and fill the internal one. Other equally important areas are the development of village infrastructure and rural tourism. The program should be discussed at all levels, considered and adopted by the Supreme Council.
