Anniversary of the "Odema" enterprise

“The Story of a Team” is the name of the exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Odema Closed Joint Stock Company named after Valentina Solovyova. Its opening took place in the hall of the exhibition complex of Catherine Park. Visitors are presented with a photo gallery, which reflects the history of "Odema". Here you can see all the stages of establishment of the enterprise.

The exhibition presents the awards of the enterprise. One of them is special. This summer, the Odema collective was awarded the medal For Saving Life. During the entire period of the state of emergency, the enterprise did not stop work. The implementation of the planned production program was supplemented by a government order for tailoring personal protective equipment for medical personnel fighting coronavirus infection.

"Odema" participates in a project to introduce dual education and cooperates with the capital's college of business and service. Today the project is working on the basis of the law "On dual education", which was adopted by the Supreme Council.

Dual training is also called practice-oriented. Only 30% of the entire period of study is allocated to theory in an educational institution, the remaining 70% is spent by a student on acquiring practical skills at the enterprise where the student will work.

In recent years, the Supreme Council has adopted a number of laws that are aimed at supporting light industry enterprises. This, in particular, the law "On tax on income of organizations". It reduces the tax burden for companies working with tolling raw materials. In addition, the law “On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy” reduced the tax burden directly on the garment industry.
