The "Path" program is in action (PHOTO REPORT)

Instead of the trodden paths that turn into a swamp in autumn, spring or after any rain, they are now paved with paving slabs. A special program "Path" has been operating for three years in the microdistrict "Solnechny" in Bendery. The idea belongs to the Supreme Council Deputy Alexander Korshunov, it was supported by the deputies of the city Council Mikhail Vladutsa, Oleg Tarasov, Alexander Marchenko and assistants Gennady Nikolin and Vyacheslav Nazarov. The project is financed from the attracted and own funds of the deputies.

In 2018, according to the program, 11 sidewalk paths were equipped, in 2019 - 22. In 2020, 45 comfortable paths and pedestrian zones were planned and appeared in Solnechny.

The deputies consider that "Path" program should continue. Every December, the chairmen of cooperatives and house committees, together with the residents of the microdistrict, draw up a list of paths and pedestrian zones between multi-storey buildings that need to be repaired or completely rebuilt. Residents of the neighborhood can walk safely at any time of the day and at any time of the year. All proposals are accepted at the reception of the deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency number 1 Alexander Korshunov. It is located Middle School No. 16 and is open on Fridays.
