Oleg Vasilatiy, "Our task is to maintain positive trends"

08.09.2020

One of the priority directions in the work of the deputy corps is to increase the income of public sector employees. Recently, difficult economic conditions have developed, both in Pridnestrovie and in neighboring states, which are the main trading partners of our republic. In this regard, budget revenues have significantly decreased. But, nevertheless, deputies intend to seriously study this issue.

One of priority tasks facing the authorities, including deputies of the Supreme Council, is to maintain tariffs for housing and communal services for the population at the 2020 level in 2021.

Deputies intend to pay serious attention to the continuation of work on the overhaul of the road surface and restoration of the road infrastructure.

According to Oleg Vasilaty, agriculture is one of the elements of increasing welfare of our republic and, in general, GDP growth. This year, due to natural factors and the pandemic, Pridnestrovie lost about 32 million rubles of budget revenues from the agro-industrial complex.

In addition, the state has already committed itself to subsidizing the establishment of stone fruit orchards. The obligations that were taken this year must be fulfilled in full in 2021, Oleg Vasilatiy considers. According to the chairman of the relevant committee, the level of the currency corridor, which has been in effect for several years, must be maintained in 2021. The Supreme Council sets itself serious tasks for autumn-winter session, and they will require difficult and balanced decisions in each specific direction from the deputy corps.
