90 years of Pridnestrovian State University

Dear Stepan Iordanovich!

Dear teachers, students, graduates!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally please receive congratulations on the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Pridnestrovian State University after Shevchenko!

The history of the formation and development of the university is difficult and joyful, filled with tremendous work and inexhaustible enthusiasm, decades of successful educational and scientific activities.

For many years, the university has been attracting talents, gathering within its walls the best mature minds and creative youth, enriching society with bold ideas, innovative views, and promising ideas.

PSU after Shevchenko presented our republic with a whole galaxy of outstanding scientists and talented specialists. Graduates make up the political, scientific, educational, economic and cultural elite of Pridnestrovie.

Today the university takes an active part in the socio-political life of the republic, international integrative work in the field of education and science, develops cooperation with foreign universities.

Qualified scientific and pedagogical potential allows the university staff to take an active part in the implementation of measures to modernize higher professional education, conduct scientific and innovative activities aimed at developing new educational technologies, improving the quality of higher education that meets the current and future needs of modern society, as well as the integration of Pridnestrovie into the Russian educational, scientific and economic space.

I am confident that the university staff will remain faithful to the glorious traditions of their predecessors, will continue to make a worthy contribution to the development of the Pridnestrovian higher education.

I sincerely wish the teaching staff good health, fruitful work, optimism, new professional achievements and inexhaustible creative energy, and the students - success in their studies, perseverance in achieving their goal, loyal friends and a rich student life!
