The 77th anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol

Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War

and home front workers! Dear residents of Tiraspol!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and myself, I congratulate you on the 77th anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol from the German-Romanian invaders!

April 12 is a special date in the history of Tiraspol. This is a great page in our history, its pride and glory, courage, the unity and solidarity of the people in the name of the Great Victory.

We pay tribute to the patriotism, perseverance and heroism of the soldiers-liberators, partisans and underground workers, home front workers. Low bow to the living participants of the Great Patriotic War. We bow our heads before the blessed memory of those who died in the battles for the Fatherland.

Honor and glory to those who restored the city and the republic in the post-war years, who became an example for the future generation with their tireless work and perseverance, making the huge contribution to the patriotic education of young people.

I wish health and longevity to all veterans, participants in the Great Patriotic War, liberators of the city on the anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol! Peaceful sky above their heads, kindness and prosperity to residents of Tiraspol.
