The School of Dubossary is 70

Russian secondary school number 2 of Dubossary is 70 years old. The school staff was congratulated on the anniversary by the Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency number 11 "Central", the director of the Dubossary hydroelectric power station Boris German, as well as the administration of the district, the administration of public education, organizations of the city.

Boris German is a graduate of this school. The deputy noted that people from all over the Soviet Union came to the construction of the Dubossary Hydroelectric Power Station, and the city began to develop in the 1950s.

The Deputy of the Supreme Council presented the school with a professional lawn mower in honor of the anniversary. Boris German noted earlier that 10 lawn mowers were purchased under the program of the Voter Mandate Fund this year for city schools, which will help in mowing grass on school grounds.

Director Natalia Nikora told the participants of the event about the history of the school and its achievements. She noted that during 70 years of work of the school, 5986 pupils received basic education, 3691 pupils - secondary, 104 of which with a gold medal.
