Dear workers of reclamation industry!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic let me congratulate you on your professional holiday - Day of land reclamation PMR!

Meliorator Day - a holiday of people whose work improves and revives the earth. Reclamation is one of the oldest areas of human activity, which increases the productivity of crops, recovering the exhausted land, drained swamps and deserts turn into lush oases.

Today the republic's land reclamation, which is carried out in order to improve the productivity and sustainability of agriculture, maintenance of the guaranteed production of agricultural products on the basis of the preservation and improvement of soil fertility is experiencing some difficulties.

However, I am sure that thanks to the deep knowledge and responsible attitude to the chosen cause you successfully overcome all the hardships and continue its important work is aimed at solving the problems of food security of the country, as well as the urgent tasks of participation in import substitution.

I warmly congratulate those who for years and decades give talent and soul to reclamation, as well as those who are at the beginning of the professional way!
