Dear Pridnestrovians!
Dear residents of Bendery!
30 years separate us from that tragic day when the Moldovan national fascists invaded Bendery, destroying everything in their path, shooting civilians.
June 19 is a sad date in the history of the city of Bendery and in the history of the entire Pridnestrovie.
The courageous defenders of Pridnestrovie left their peaceful professions and gave a worthy rebuff to the Moldovan aggressors in those harsh days of 1992, when the fate of the republic was in danger with all our people.
The Bendery tragedy will forever remain in the memory of not only the current, but also future generations of Pridnestrovians. This day has become a reminder for all of us that it is impossible to counter threats without national unity, without a creative spirit and faith in one's own strength.
Our people won not only by force of arms, but above all by force of spirit. They fought for the right to live in his own land, for the right to speak his native language.
Today, despite the unsettledness of the Pridnestrovian-Moldovan relations and the existing difficulties, Pridnestrovie is purposefully and confidently looking to the future.
The basis of this confidence is the courage and resilience of the Pridnestrovians, pride in the past and responsibility for the future.
Peace, tranquility and prosperity to all residents of Pridnestrovie!
Chairman of the Supreme Council
of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
