April 30 - Day of the Social Worker

Dear workers and veterans of the social service!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on me personally, I congratulate you on your professional holiday!

Social protection of the population has been and remains one of the priority directions of the policy implemented in the republic, and is aimed at providing effective and constant assistance to the most vulnerable groups of the population, to all who are in difficult life situation.

Despite the economic difficulties, Pridnestrovian authorities help to fulfill social obligations to the full: target programs are being implemented, additional measures of social support are being introduced, and a network of specialized institutions is expanding.

A social worker is not just a profession - it's a way of life, a state of mind, so there cannot be random people here. This is on the shoulder only to those who are completely devoted to caring for others.

By choosing your vocation and selfless labor you make this world a better, cleaner, lighter, more humane and more joyful, showing by your example the true value of human warmth and care.

Thank you for your professionalism, patience and wisdom, for the love you give every day to those who need it especially! You give many people hope and confidence in themselves, helping to overcome circumstances.
