Dear servicemen of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces!

I congratulate you on the Peacekeeper Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

Peacekeepers are not only defenders, they are creators as well. Your tasks after all include resolving various crisis situations, maintaining peace with arms in hand, especially in hot spots, and rebuilding cities after devastating conflicts.

We, the Pridnestrovians, remember those bloody days when the fire of war blazed in the streets of our cities and villages, we know the price of peace like no one else. We are immensely grateful to the peacekeepers who have fulfilled and continue to fulfill their sacred duty to protect the Pridnestrovian land with honor and valor.

Bringing peace to people, protecting them from armed conflicts and confrontations, strengthening trust between nations and states can be done by courageous, strong-willed people. People for whom peace on earth is above all else.

I am convinced that the organized and coordinated work, high professionalism and skill of the peacekeeping contingent will continue to be a reliable guarantor of peace and tranquility on both banks of the Dniester.

I sincerely congratulate you on the holiday! I wish you, your family and friends health, a peaceful sky above your heads, goodness, good health, happiness and prosperity!
