25 years for business

The history of the founding of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the PMR began on April 21, 1993 with a meeting of representatives of enterprises, associations, organizations and entrepreneurs. Today, the CCI represents the interests of small, medium and large businesses, embraces all spheres of business, being the largest association of the Pridnestrovian business. The Chamber over the years has developed and implemented projects of a national scale, signed important agreements with international organizations and various chambers of the world, and solved strategic tasks for the development of entrepreneurship. Members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry today are 197 enterprises of Pridnestrovie.

On January 17, 1995, the Supreme Council adopted the law "On Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". According to Alexander Shcherba, the law was adopted in a timely manner. It effectively works today, because, as the speaker emphasized, the parliamentarians, working on the document, were guided by the principle - do no harm.

A number of CCI employees for many years of conscientious work and high professionalism were awarded state decorations, diplomas of the Supreme Council. President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yuri Ganin was awarded the Order of Merit, I degree, Vice President of the Chamber Vasily Kozhan - Order of Merit II degree. On behalf of the President, they were congratulated by the head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Belous. He read the greeting address of the President.

At the solemn event dedicated to its quarter-century anniversary, the most honorable and respected guests are founders and first members of the Chamber, heads of Pridnestrovian enterprises. According to Anatoly Blashka, the creation of the CCI provided our enterprises with only opportunities to enter the international market in those years. He emphasized the special role in this difficult matter of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic. Anatoliy Belitchenko, who headed MMZ for many years, one of the founders of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is convinced: the role of the Chamber in the development of the economy of Pridnestrovie is great.

The CCI is an alma mater of many entrepreneurs - here they receive knowledge, adopt the experience of mentors and receive support. The CCI of the PMR for 25 years has grown a new generation of people who already today form the strategic direction of the state development. Among them, there were parliamentarians, Victor Guzun and Oleg Vasilaty, who started their career in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Chairman of the Committee for Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry of the Supreme Council PMR Victor Guzun was awarded breastplate of the Chamber of Commerce Excellence award” for fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation in business development, the creation of a favorable legal and economic climate, for active participation in the events held by the Chamber in honor of the 25th anniversary.

Today the CCI is the interaction of state authorities with business and the world community. More than 53 agreements on cooperation with international organizations and chambers of commerce and industry of the world have been concluded during these years. Projects "Business Education", "Pridnestrovian Quality", "Leader", "Pridnestrovian Investment Forum", "Buy Pridnestrovian!" help to develop business, and train future businessmen. Thus, the implementation of the project "Business Mentoring" allowed to open 30 new enterprises and create more than 200 jobs.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry looks with confidence in the future, introducing new technologies for business dialogue with the authorities.
