December 24 - Constitution Day of the PMR

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, I congratulate you on one of the main state holidays - the Constitution Day!

The Constitution is the bearing construction of the legal system of the state, of public relations in general. It defines the letter and spirit of all major legislative acts of the republic.

Relying on the Basic Law adopted in a national referendum on December 24, 1995, our republic has confidently passed through difficult trials, while preserving its independence. The Constitution was and remains a pledge of the further development of Pridnestrovie, its forward movement towards prosperity.

I am convinced that the Constitution of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will continue to serve the solution of all-state tasks, the construction of a civil society, the provision of economic and civil liberties.

Let this holiday give us strength and confidence in achieving our goals for strengthening the statehood of our republic!
