December 24 - Constitution Day of Pridnestrovie

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the Constitution Day of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

Constitution Day is a special holiday. This is a holiday of our freedom, our hopes for constructive peaceful labor, active participation in the affairs of the state.

We, the citizens of Pridnestrovie, by our free expression of will adopted the Basic Law in 1995, which approved the basic values ​​of civil society and the democratic principles of organizing our state.

The document lays a solid foundation for progressive democratic rule-making, defines the principles of statehood, the highest value of which is proclaimed a person, his rights and freedoms. The Constitution absorbed the best experience of the past and opened up new opportunities for enhancing the spiritual and cultural values ​​of Pridnestrovians.

I am sure that the main guarantee of the further development of the republic is the unity of our multinational people, the contribution of each of us to the common cause.

With all my heart I wish all Pridnestrovians health, prosperity and happiness, great achievements in the name of progress and prosperity of our republic!
