December 24 – Day of the Constitution of the PMR

Dear Pridnestrovians!

I congratulate you on the Constitution Day of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

The Constitution, adopted at a nationwide referendum in 1995, became the foundation of democratic lawmaking, guaranteeing fundamental rights and freedoms to Pridnestrovians, thereby finally securing the independence of our state.

Relying on the legal foundation created by the Constitution today, we are implementing state projects aimed at the dynamic socio-economic development of the republic, improving the living standards of the population, creating conditions for self-realization and disclosure of the talent of every Pridnestrovian.

It is important that each of us appreciates the significance of the Constitution not only for the state and society, but also for you, your family, and your children, know your constitutional rights, honors and fulfills constitutional obligations.

I am sure that only together we will be able to achieve sustainable movement forward and stable development of Pridnestrovie, strictly observing constitutional requirements and norms, by our labor for the benefit of our native land.

With all my heart I wish you happiness, good health, success and good luck in all your good undertakings for the benefit of our republic!
