December 24 - Day of the Constitution of PMR

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and personally from me please receive congratulations on the occasion of the Constitution Day of PMR!

The Basic Law of the country adopted in1995 has become not just a declaration, it was and remains a document defining the strategic course of our state to the constitutional principles. Having outlined the framework of a just social order, setting the legal environment, where every citizen can live in peace, work, and feel confidence in the future, the Constitution becomes the basis of democratic reform, economic modernization and social change.

The Constitution of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, having undergone several changes, has not lost its humanistic character over 20 years.

Knowledge and careful application of constitutional laws - is the norm of civilized life, a powerful lever to improve its quality.

I am convinced that the Constitution of PMR will remain a reliable guide in strengthening stability and further progress on the path of democracy and progress.

This remarkable day, I wish you peace, prosperity, good health, the full realization of human rights and freedoms, confidence in the future and new achievements!
