Opening of the "Solnechny" public garden in Bendery on the 20th of November

Solemnly opening the public garden "Solnechny", located in the district of the speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov will be held tomorrow in the city of Bendery. The new recreation park is located near school number 16. Previously, this place had old horizontal bars and sports structures, broken asphalt and emergency retaining walls. Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov, who is a deputy in the Solnechny district, and the city authorities proposed to make the territory a modern and convenient place for recreation for residents. The idea was supported by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The object was included in the Capital Investment Fund.

The landscaping work began in 2020. First, it was necessary to clear the territory, remove outdated structures, and carry out landscape work.

The Solnechny microdistrict is hilly, there are many ascents and descents, retaining walls serve to strengthen the soil, they have been restored. Financial assistance was provided by the deputies of the district. Then a sports ground with horizontal bars was installed. The next stage was the arrangement of the pedestrian zones, the supply of electricity and water supply, the installation of lamp posts.

Gabion is a wire mesh filled with stone material. It performs the main function of supporting the soil and at the same time is an element of decor. They also want to give a beautiful view to other retaining walls located along the perimeter of the square.

The construction of a modern football field is in full swing. There will be a basketball and volleyball court nearby. A tier below is a children's play complex, a workout area is equipped. In the park you can play badminton and table tennis. The large territory was arranged so that everyone could find a place of rest to their liking.

Maple and weeping sakura seedlings were planted recently in the Solnechny public garden. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the greening campaign together with the residents of the microdistrict.

The opening of the Solnechny public garden will take place on November 20 at 13:00, an entertainment program is planned for children.
