The 14th of September – the PMR Border Guard Day

Dear border guards!

I congratulate you on Border Guard Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

Border detachment of the Ministry of State Security of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was created in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic of September 14, 1992 No. 244, on the territory of the military unit of the former Soviet Army, in order to protect the State Border of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, intelligence, counterintelligence and operational-search activities, as well as to ensure the territorial sovereignty and security of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Protecting the borders of the Fatherland has been and remains one of the most responsible, difficult and honorable tasks, which the Motherland entrusts only to its best soldiers.

You successfully cope with the mission entrusted to you, reliably protect the borders of our state, effectively ensure national security and stability of our republic, carefully increase and worthily continue the best traditions of your predecessors.

I am confident that your dedication to your chosen cause, impeccable personal qualities, efficiency and high professionalism will be the key to fulfilling your official duty in the future.
