December 12 - elections of the PMR President

Dear citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

December 12 is an important day in our country - the election of the President of the republic. This year we will elect the head of state for the 7th time.

Pridnestrovie for 31 years has established itself as an independent democratic rule of law. We have a Constitution, laws, bodies of power and administration, we determined the path of development of our state at referendums - this is the highest form of manifestation of democracy. Citizens also elect the leadership of the country by universal suffrage.

This year, on December 12, we again elect President Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. According to the Constitution, the President determines the directions of the domestic and foreign policy of the state, the President guarantees the rights and freedoms of citizens, ensures the exact implementation of the Constitution and laws that are adopted by the Supreme Council. It is the head of state who takes measures to protect the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of our country.

This is important for all of us. When choosing President, we choose the independence of our state. We choose a person who represents the interests of all citizens of Pridnestrovie at the international level.

The attention of the world community on election day will be directed to our small state. The position of the people who came to the polling stations for the presidential elections will show the whole world and our closest neighbors that Pridnestrovian is a sovereign, independent, democratic and legal state.

Dear Pridnestrovians! I as the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic ask and call on all citizens who have the right to vote to come to the polling stations on December 12 and express their own opinion. Vote for a worthy candidate!
