On December 12, the Russian Federation celebrates its main public holiday - Constitution Day.
Adopted twenty-seven years ago, the country's fundamental law laid the foundation for the formation of new Russian statehood, which reliably serves the good of society, all citizens, for the well-being of everyone.
The Constitution embodies the centuries-old experience and achievements of the country, is a solid foundation for its further development.
Guarantees of the rights and social protection of citizens, free economy and independence of local self-government are the basic elements of the current Constitution of the Russian Federation, recognized by world researchers as one of the most perfect. It is these fundamental directions that determine the development of democracy, the consolidation of civil peace and harmony in society.
I am confident that fruitful creative work aimed at strengthening the socio-economic potential will make it possible to even more fully implement constitutional norms and principles, and to affirm the status of Russia as a modern world prosperous power.
I wish all citizens of the Russian Federation health, peaceful skies, happiness and prosperity!
