The Day of Knowledge!

01.09.2022

Dear boys and girls!

Dear teachers and parents!

Please allow me to congratulate everyone on a wonderful holiday - the Day of Knowledge on behalf of the deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf.

September 1 is a solemn and exciting day, the beginning of the school year, an unforgettable holiday for many generations. Each of us feels our involvement one way or another. This is a long-awaited holiday for first-graders, the first acquaintance with the school, the beginning of an interesting journey through the world of knowledge. The bell will ring today for the eleventh graders that will mark the exit to the finish line. This is a special day for us, for adults. Today we remember our school years, filled with exciting events in the world of childhood, we remember our friends and teachers.

This day for all students is a new step into the future, in which you, today's students, are the main characters. The state has high hopes for you.

The problem of the quality of education in recent years, increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the education system around the world has received increasing attention. An important and difficult task facing the school is to prepare young people who are independent, active, and competent. Comprehensive development of the personality, analytical thinking, the formation of interest in the history of the native state, an attentive, tolerant attitude towards other members of society, in a word, the upbringing of a civic position, depends on teachers.

Dear teachers! Thank you for your noble work. You do not just give knowledge, but, following the traditions of Pridnestrovian education, you are mentors for young people, largely determine the worldview, values, life position of each student – you create the basis for the development of human capital in fact. It is on you, on the quality and content of your work that the development of our Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for decades to come, our national perspective and competitiveness depend.

Dear friends!

I congratulate you once again on the beginning of the new academic year and sincerely wish you all good health, fruitful creative research, diligence and mutual understanding! Good luck and new discoveries!
