110 tasks

An extended government meeting was held with the participation of the head of state and members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council headed by Speaker of Parliament Alexander Shcherba in the House of official receptions. Holding a meeting at this format is already becoming a political tradition. Exactly one year ago, January 11, 2017, during the meeting, the most important tasks were also determined, the decisions of which were expected by the voters immediately after the presidential elections, and Prime Minister Alexander Martynov presented a number of "road maps", including the creation of conditions for development business, exporters support.

This year the President Vadim Krasnoselsky gathered the leaders of the parliament, government, ministries and departments to designate their tasks for this year.

The situation in the housing and communal services, healthcare, employment issues and compensation payments for Soviet deposits, as well as complaints about the work of state officials, became the peculiar record holders of the rating of concerns of Pridnestrovians.

Vadim Krasnoselsky began the tasks with the legislature. He itemized it. This is the return of powers to the Prosecutor's Office, for which it will be necessary to amend the Constitution. This is the improvement of the mechanism of conditional early release of prisoners by taking judicial decisions, and not through the work of the commission for pardon. This is an opportunity to elect the heads of state administrations.

The latter thesis closely echoes with the intention to improve the legislation in the sphere of local self-government through a clear distribution of competencies and powers between the republican authorities and state administrations on the ground.

The government, together with the Supreme Council and the business community, will have to develop such a document, as significant for the republic's economy, as the Tax Code. A lot of joint work is also in the sphere of modernization of investment legislation.

Among the goals set by the president, the development of inter-parliamentary relations, broad representation of the position of Pridnestrovie at various international venues, also appear before the deputy corps of tasks.

Following the parliamentarians, the tasks for 2018 were announced by Vadim Krasnoselsky for other state authorities - totally 110. At the core of each is the improvement of the welfare of Pridnestrovian citizens.
